36" x 48" — Oil, Acrylic & Spray Paint on Canvas
Part of an ongoing series exploring quiet moments of self-reflection, this double self-portrait uses the mirror not as a tool of replication, but of interpretation. Positioned upon a bed bathed in afternoon light, two versions of myself recline in subtle contrast — one reserved, the other self-assured. Denim and loafers become everyday armor, grounding the scene in casual intimacy.
The mirror at the composition’s center resists reflection, instead revealing a dialogue between presence and perception — an introspective study of how identity shifts beneath calmness and light.
